usb serial console

I was reading the kernel console docs. Don't ask me why. Guess I was pretty board. I was at work with about 20 minutes until
time to go home.

It says that a serial console can be configured to use a usb to serial converter. You can put console=ttyUSB0 on the kernel
command line.

If this actually works, this will be a huge help for me. Serial ports are becoming an endangered commodity these days.

I'm concerned that the usb driver in the fedora kernel is built as a module. If this is the case, I think a usb serial console
won't work.

I plan on testing it very soon.
