Hello!
Well, I believe there is a gnome speech module for ttsynth on the ttsynth homepage and under downloads.
Download that module, compile it, and then install ttsynth.
I installed it with dpkg-i and then the ttsynth package name.
Then I entered my serial number and that stuff.
I think you need to install another package as well, I think I've got that one somewhere here in my computer. if you want it I can send it to you.
