Greetings,

I've just changed from using ISO-8859-1 to using UTF-8. I thought that I'd read somewhere that the latest svn version of brltty would cope with that. This would seem to be the case in consloe 1. I can type alt+246 and get the representation of an lower case o diaresis on my Alva 320 braille display. If I use Snownews and check my Swedish and French RSS feeds, things seem to work fine in all consoles. If I try to type alt+246 in consoles 2-6 I get an ASCII 63. If I try to read Swedish or French websites in Links2.26, I get ASCII 63. If I try to do the same using Lynx, I get nothing. If I try the same websites with Firefox and Orca, things work fine.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Regards,

Bertil
