Hello!
I'm running fedora core 4.
Where can I download screader from?
Can I get screader to work with my speech dispatcher drivers?

Hi Kristoffer,

You can give screader a try. If you use Ubuntu, install screader as root with:

  apt-get install screader

Read the manual with:

  man screader

By default screader will use the festival synthesizer, but espeak
is much better now. You can use espeak by installing it with:

   apt-get install espeak

and put a line:

  espeak

on the first line in /etc/screader/tts.

Start screader with:

  screader

  Good luck,

     Jos.

Hello!

Is there any other screen reader except for yasr and speakup that works with software speech?
In the console

I want something that doesn't need to be compiled into the kernel and that can run on multiple consoles at once.
