mplayer can output anything it can play into a wav file. Thus you can use it also for example to extract audio from video files and the like. I use the attached script to convert "anything" to mp3. You can tweak the quality options at the beginning to get the desired quality. lame and mplayer are required. Usage: any2mp3 inputFile outputFile.mp3 Best regards, Lukas
