Ok, something odd. the fedora core 4 dvd works partly.
I got some faults at install, but at least it finds the dvd, I think it
could be a bit damaged though.
Oh, i wish so for dave to put an installer for fedora 7 on his site soon.

I should imagine the simplest way to achieve your desired result is to
use your package manager to remove gdm (using its argument to ignore
dependency issues). Then simply reinstall gdm.
Not elegant, and it doesn't teach you anything. But it should get the
job done.

in my computer even though I have that dvd inserted.
I've burned the dvd several times, and burned new fedora 6 braillefied
installer image cd:s as well.
what can be wrong?
