frotz works, and if you can find intfiction-installer that's a good add-on package. What it does once installed is to download from the interactive fiction sites lists of games available. Then you can go and tell intfiction-install to get you the games you're interested in playing and you can also search the list of games using string searches to locate games of interest to download. Those lists change every so often so it pays to have intfiction-install do an update on them regularly too.
