Hello!

I'm thinking about building usb support for dos.

What needs to be done in order to get the braille voyager to work with brltty in dos? I know that there are some generic usb dos drivers available.

Can this compiling be done in windows or dos?

In DOS with DJGPP installed, yes. However, when compiling from the svn
repository, you need to run ./autogen from windows (with cygwin) or unix
system first.
