Hello!

Well, I've allready got a fedora installation on my computer that works, so I'll use that.

Also, I've got a problem.
I have an ibm x series 200 server wich I can't insall linux on. the linstallation just hangs. I've never experienced something like this before. any clue on what is going on?

I've got scsi hard drives. Do I need to specify something to the kernel at boot up maybe?

Kristoffer,

My suggestion is to use debian or debian based server. I run a few for years without much problems. I see no reason to run ftp though since web server provides just as good service if not better not to mention more secure.

For email you get exim with good support for mailman for the mailing lists. Installation is usually simple, apt-get install whatever.

Internet radio is another matter. I'm not familiar with any streaming server to recommend one over the other.
