Hi, I tried the ubuntu live cd on my computer, with an alva device
(Braille System 40) connected via USB
Many people told me it just detects the Braille device automatically,
if you enable it from Orca (speech works correctly)
But, it did not do like so. The braille display beeped, writing
"waiting for connection" and then, no longer life signs.
My co-worker just looked at the log and found this error:
detected unknown alva model with ID 13 (hex)
Please fix MModels[] in Alva/braille.c and mail the maintainer
I suppose in ubuntu edgy there is brltty 3.7.1.
So BrailleSystem is not supported?
I got this error reading the log and then, afrer all, launching
brltty from a terminal which has just been set up
thanks in avanve
