Hi Chris,

Ubuntu has /sbin/brltty by default I believe since I don't remember installing it specifically. I have two systems, both Kubuntu 6.06.1 LTS and 6.1 and they both have brltty installed.

Note however that I'm not using brltty.

I am considering upgrading an old Debian and using ubuntu Linux instead. If I start with a new, clean Ubuntu install, does it have
brltty in it?

Thanks.

Chris

Subject: Intro and Skype

Hi, I was here years ago, hope I'm glad to be back.

I still have SW9 and a pretty old Speakup on it. I wondered if there was a version of Skype that would runoff the CL for this version. The machine is an aging P2, around 400Mhz and no real sign of usb ports. I guess a telecoms
headset would have to be used?

Suggestions welcome, I don't use this much, still trying to find tools to
make it do what I want efficiently.
Edbrowse is one of my favourites I have to say.

RobH.
