Can you copy cut and paste in Linux?

You can copy and paste with speakup. Just put the speakup cursor at the
beginning of what you want to copy and hit numpat-/ then go to the end
of what you want to copy and hit numpad-/ again. Now go to wherever you
want to paste and hit insert-numpad-/ and it's pasted.

There is also a way using the screen program, but I have been so spoiled
by the feature in speakup that I can't remember how to use it. Also IIRC
brltty can copy and paste as well.
