I just ordered my FC3 CD. I run FC1 right now on my linux partition. I read the howto, and it mentions using dtlk driver for the double talk PC ISA and Trippletalk PCI. Does it actually work with a Trippletalk? When I get a new machine, I might not be able to find one with an ISA slot to use for my double talk. I thought the main speakup page said the support is in the works because the developers can't get specs for the new stuff to code drivers. Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Vasile Radu" <vradu@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Linux for blind general discussion" <blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, May 30, 2005 12:32 PM Subject: Re: FC3 distributions and Speakup > even in this conditions how can I get a cd set? > I've got an apolo 2 > The question is after the instalation the speak-up can not be configured to > use a software one? > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Janina Sajka" <janina@xxxxxxxxxxx> > To: "Linux for blind general discussion" <blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Monday, May 30, 2005 3:41 PM > Subject: Re: FC3 distributions and Speakup > > > > The Speakup Modified installation can ONLY use a hardware speech > > synthesizer. > > > > vasile radu writes: > >> i have some question about this speak-up modified: > >> 1.
