Thanks for the tips. Note that both (all 3?) of these are extra downloads;
they're not part of Fedora. A travesty!

As for cdplay, before I shelved the project for later I found 3 results from
a Google search: One from Keene, one from Brighteyes.u-net.com, and one I
don't remember (Linux.Apps?).

Note also that the alias I cooked up turns out to be duplicated in the man
page for cdda2wav, but more than halfway through the page. Who says
programmers are organized!

Of course, that's not what cdda2wav is intended for - it's just that it's
the only solution actually included in Fedora 2.
