Wow!!! Curl works even more simply!!!
For my purposes, it works like this:
curl -u username:password -O -f www.loc.gov/nls/braille/12269v[01-04].brf
of course substituting your username and password.
You can use quotes around the url or not--either way. As with the script
with wget, if you overestimate the number of volumes, you just get 404
errors on the volumes that don't exist.
This also apparently can be used for uploads onto servers, which may
interest some people.
This approach is most definitely faster, if you know the book
number, than going there in lynx and downloading each file!!!
Thanks so much for both the script approach and curl!!! I like having
options!!!
