Yes, it can be used by beginners. No, you don't need to do anything at all to your HardDrive. It loads emacspeak automatically and spoken feedback is nearly instant. Insert the cd, boot, and it speaks if your soundcard etc. is working properly. Hope this helps Hanif Kruger Tiscali technical support representative ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Weaver" <michael.weaver2@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, March 26, 2004 4:54 PM Subject: Some questions about Oralux |Hi! I have some questions about Oralux. Can it be used by beginners new to Linux? Would I need to do anything to my hard drive before running it? Also when it boots from CD, is the user taken through instructions or do you have to issue the command for running Emacspeak before you get any spoken feedback? Hope someone can give me advice. _______________________________________________ Blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list _______________________________________________ Blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list
