Hello! I would like to inform you that I have uploaded today 490 new "ready-to-use", statically compiled BrlTty binaries that people may use at their convenience for different situations (like having braille during installation, adding braille to mini distros, having a brltty bin before having Linux on the pc for the 1rst time, etc). The brltty tgz files were built using BrlTty 3.3.1 (svn version), and are available at: http://brlstatx.brlspeak.net/ or http://brlspeak.net/brlstatx.php I have tried to reduce the size of the binaries, so no speech support is provided, many things are disabled, btw I stripped the files before building the tgz. But in essence, it provides a minimal braille support! Read more about this at: http://brlstatx.brlspeak.net and I hope some will find it useful! Any contrib or new ideas are still welcome: info [at] brlspeak [dot] net Kind regards!
