Free Pascal?

Right!... whoever recommended Free Pascal, I want to thank you again
so very much as I did get it installed easily and am as I write (on
another machine) running my first little tool which is to auto-run the
notlame encoder (also recommended here!) to mass convert a 23 track
rip off a CD. The utility I wrote did nothing very special other than
write text which got directed into go.sh and was thus the basis of the
executable shell script. This is as good as writing the entire
program and a darned sight faster.

I can make any bits available if I produce something that appeals to
someone else's needs.

GA! with a grin.

..... or someone very like me!
