I am thinking of buying the DecTalk soft synth from Fonix, to use with emacspeak and/or yasr.
How responsive is it when moving around the screen and text? And are there any compatibility problems I should worry about, as I intend to use it on Slackware 9.
Your opinion is much appreciated.
