I am trying to get garnome up and running and with it, of course, X. can somebody using debian remind me how one keeps X from starting at boot. I though i remembered it as being to not have xdm on your system, but neither apt-get or dpkg like the idea of my getting rid of xdm and leaving the main package. I do know how to get out of X if I do boot up with it, but I would prefer not to do so at this stage. Thanks.
