Probably the best thing to do would be to back up the important files to CD's. You can just burn the important stuff or there are also programs that will allow you to copy your entire hard drive to CD's. As for your JFW key, you will need to move it to it's original disk before you install Linux, as Freedom Scientific doesn't like having their JFW keys copied even during a backup.
