Regretably, this is the case, though we have full confidence that Speakup will be back in future editions of Red Hat. Meanwhile, kernels patched with Speakup are
available now. Consult:

http://www.linux-speakup.org/ftp/disks/redhat/

We hope to have installation floppy disk (and iso) images soon.
