Another Possibility for a Braille Computer

Hello,

The Eightythree, produced by tiqit computers, is a PC the size of a
handheld. It has plenty of memory and disk storage. The company will load
Linux onto the machine, or at least it is easy for the user to do so.
Combined with a braille display such as the Braille Lite, which has a
braille keyboard, and brltty this would make a superb braille computer. It
could be operated almost entirely from the braille keyboard using the
keyboard emulation feature of brltty.

The website, www.tiqit.com , is inaccessible with a text-based browser.
However, Google found a brochure giving some specificastions and even
translated it from pdf to html. I was planning to include the Google
page in this message, but discovered that it had not been saved, for
some reason. Sorry.

John
