Travis,
If you installed Samba from the CD's, you should have plenty of 
documentation. Samba is controled by the smb.conf file in the /etc/samba 
directory. You will want to read the man page on smb.conf. It works best 
to use the info command, since this is much more flexible than the old 
man command. Try typing info smbconf. You will also want to read about 
smbclient, which can be used to query the Windows machine.
This subject was discussed quite extensively a few weeks ago. You might 
want to look in the list archives.
