Hello Listers. Just wanted to inform you that eflite, the Emacspeak festival lite speech server is now available in debian (unstalbe/sid right now). Installation of eflite is not yet integrated into the emacspeak config script, so after you install emacspeak+eflite, like this: apt-get install emacspeak eflite and got somehow over the questions emacspeak asks you, you can just do: echo "DTK_TCL=/usr/bin/eflite">/etc/emacspeak.conf and eflite should be fine.. Invoke emacspeak, and test it. P.S.: eflite will most probably not make it into the next release, codename woody. There is just not enough time left. -- CYa, Mario
