Hello all, I'm going to install Linux onto this system to see how I get on for a while. What I need to know is what version you would suggest. I have the option of either using Mandrake 8.0 or Red hat 7.0. I am hoping to use Emax speak 16.0 with an apollo 2 synthasizer. I would really appreciate some suggestions that you believe will come in useful when starting off with this software for the first time. Also, if someone could send me detailed instructions on setting up and configuring these operating systems and emax I'de be eturnaly grateful. Sorry for all the requests. I've no knowledge or experience to help me with Linux. I'm just experimenting to see how much more suppiorier Linux is to Windows. Oh, just one more question. does any one know of a screen reader that can work with one of the X environments? I heard of one about a year ago. Thanks again Darragh darragh@digytek.com
