VIM Versus Nano

Hello,
It turns out that a minimal version of VIM, called VI6.0z was installed.
It seems to work.
I've been using Gnu Nano for a while, and after looking at VI I couldn't
see how it would be any better. In fact, nano is simpler and more
intuitive. The only thing it lacks is a way to go to the beginning and end
of a file without doing a lot of page up or page down keystrokes.
I am using Redhat 7.1. It apparently came without VIM, though there was a
VI.
