Please find below a brief summary of the progress Collabora has made last week.
Week 44 (2023)
Weston/Wayland

- SPEC-4944 (Visual Artifacts on rcar3 with Flutter 3.13.2) + SPEC-4938 (Visual Artifacts on Flutter 3.13.2) - further debugging shows that there was a minor oversight into the damaged rectangle area passed to EGL. Provided initially a work-around then added an upstream change that fixes that properly in the code.
- https://gerrit.automotivelinux.org/gerrit/c/apps/homescreen/+/29310 - testing Ashosk change found an issue with fall-backing to the image.
PipeWire/WirePlumber:
====================
- (SPEC-4940) - upgrade PipeWire and WirePlumber to latest versions.
- IT team allocated a server for AGL builds. This is not just for this issue but for all the pipewire AGL work in general.
- Started using this new server, faced access issues to begin with and they are followed by build issues.
- (SPEC-4931) - add bass, treble controls
- George created a simple Linux desktop script testing the functionality, together with the needed config for pipewire.
- Ashok verified the same on desktop, he will port it onto AGL.
