Please find below a brief summary of the progress Collabora has made last week.
Week 43 (2023)
Weston/Wayland

- SPEC-4935 (agl-image-flutter: agl-shell-grpc-server segfaults) - initial fixed proved to be insufficient provided additional fix
- SPEC-4944 (Visual Artifacts on rcar3 with Flutter 3.13.2) - investigation into crash when enabling flutter with debug. Provided initial assessment.
- SPEC-4912 (Add gRPC activation into qt homescreen) - re-worked the whole start-up from the gRPC server the connection with the compositor and on the other side, the homescreen client connecting to it happens much sooner. This shows similar start-up display time, as using the native protocol. In WIP/testing for the time being to make sure other platforms are okay as well.
PipeWire/WirePlumber:

- (SPEC-4881) - attached camera to AGL
- fallback sink gerrit(https://gerrit.automotivelinux.org/gerrit/c/apps/camera-gstreamer/+/29276) are merged.
- (SPEC-4940) - upgrade PipeWire and WirePlumber to latest versions.
- tested changes on pike, will test them on master this week.
