Please find below a brief summary of the progress Collabora has made last week.
Weston/Wayland
Marius:
- SPEC-4087 - fixed minor build issues with cross SDK (when some of the build options are not available -- especially waltham transmitter plugin). Added a pgk-config file for waltham-transmitter plug-in to determine that's available -- instead of assuming that is. Also, headless back-end might not be built in libweston and this will fixes local builds, allowing a easier building/running even if it might outside of AGL scope. Patches series posted.
- Follow-up with Arnaud on AppFW work, working on removing any appfw dependencies in homescreen/launcher.
Application Framework
Arnaud:
- Discuss and review the implementation strategy for the new AppFW
- Build a demo image free from any existing AppFW bits
- Investigate application discovery and startup from the homescreen
Pipewire
George:
- No progress this week
