Please find below a brief summary of the progress Collabora have made last week on Weston/Wayland and Pipewire.

Weston / Wayland

- Fixed a crash in the bluetooth ofono backend that prevented connecting a phone over bluetooth

- Improved the A2DP source and HFP Audio Gateway implementation so that nodes are created dynamically only when there is an active stream on the AG device (i.e. the phone): https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/merge_requests/529 https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/merge_requests/533

- Added a new bluetooth "Audio Gateway" profile that activates both A2DP source and HFP AG and allows the AG device to select which profile to use (instead of having to select it also on the PipeWire end): https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/merge_requests/536

- Updated and fixed wireplumber unit tests with new WpSessionItem and WpEndpoint refactoring changes

- Made sure refactoring changes do not break wireplumber and created MR: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/wireplumber/-/merge_requests/130

Raghavendra

- Debugged and fixed the issue with the API documentation generated by Sphinx/Exhale where the documentation of all APIs in the HTMl is wrongly rendered with an error "Cannot find function in doxygen xml output"
