Hi All, Please find below a brief summary of the progress Collabora have made last week on Weston/Wayland and Pipewire. Weston / Wayland Marius - SPEC-3701 - investigate why weston-simple-touch can't be run with the agl-compositor. Turns that both the client and libweston-desktop are missing maximized/fullscreen implementations. As wl-shell is deprecated recommended porting it to xdg-shell. Alternative would be to add implementation for configure events in the client and patch-up libweston-desktop to provide implementation for set_maximized/set_fullscreen, but these will be changes that have to maintained in AGL. - SPEC-3726, glmark2 review - SPEC-3720, transient systemd failure which was fixed on a clean build Walter - SPEC-3410 - Continue discussion regarding MR to improve PipeWire support for systems with poor DMA granularity. Prepare test environment with Debian on iMX8MQ EVK. Pipewire George - SPEC-3410 - Performed testing with PipeWire master on iMX6 to help upstreaming of wlozano's fixes - Participated in the VF2F meeting, presenting the IC EG Sound Manager proposal and the Video Architecture proposal Kind regards, Nick
