[agl-dev-community] Contributing about software keyboard, need some help

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi, all.

I am writing to ask some questions and advice from AGL members about the contribution process.
There was an implementation of the software keyboard in our recent project.
We hope that the results will contribute to the AGL project.

You can refer to the following links for keyboard implementations:
https://www.notion.so/drimaes/AGL-Software-keyboard-9d3a34c2855b42608d34123d1c08b8ce

The project is based on agl 8.0, but we expect it to be applicable to the latest version of agl to make a contribution.
So I'm trying to do agl 10.0 right now, but it's not going well with rpi and qemu, so I'm having a hard time here.
Is it okay to contribute to the work based on the 8 or 9 version, and then modify it to work in the 10 version?

Another question is that when I request the creation of a repository, I think it would be okay to create a repository for the source code.
But we have to make a meta-layer for patching chromium, and is it right to ask for a repository for meta-layer or push the meta-layer in meta-agl-devel?

Regards,
Yevgeny Hong
