Dear George,
thanks for the prompt reply.
I guess I have to study pipewire then!
as i understood, 4a had some vehicle specific features, compatibility with vehicle audio sources and sinks, ways to configure policies... so surly pipewire must have all them as well.
could you  suggest a practicel document for studying pipewire and how to move our code from 4a to pipwire ?
thanks.

Hello all,
there are recipes for 4a in FF and GG but there is none in master! why is that?
the command:
$bitbake-layers show-recipes | grep 4a

this command in gg, output the packages like:
mata-audio-4a-framework
4a-tools
4a-mixer
...

but in master nothing!!

Hello Vahid,

In master we have switched to using PipeWire to implement the audio system. 4A is deprecated and the recipes have been moved to meta-agl-devel/ATTIC/.

If you require assistance with PipeWire, let me know.

Best Regards,
George
