Hi Madhu,

I am afraid this will not help you a lot, but as described in the JIRA mentioned by Leon,
the evidence has been done (independently from the 4a) architecture that dmix is broken
on that board, and that this is basically due to a poor implementation in the kernel sound driver.
Using an external USB sound card is the only known an acceptable workaround,
waiting for bug to be fixed in the kernel one day.
