It would be nice if you could test with this package instead:

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/filesystems/openSUSE_12.2/x86_64/autofs-5.0.7-109.1.x86_64.rpm

It includes almost all patches committed to the AutoFS repository after 5.0.7
was released (just to check if the problem is already fixed).
