James, There is a utility named `athtestcmd` that is used for manufacturing and regulatory testing. Unfortunately I do not know how Atheros distributes this tool and have limited experience with it. Are you using the AR6004? We are using an AR6003, currently with 3.2.0.265 firmware -- with newer firmware, experience kernel lockup within 24 hours of uptime (strange, I know -- why would firmware on the external chip cause a lockup in the ath6kl driver). Running the 3.8.8 kernel with 3.18 backports. What is the update/release flow for this firmware? I've seen chatter on the list about a version 3.5.0.375 at http://lists.infradead.org/pipermail/ath6kl/2015-July/000106.html and am attempting to locate any updates that might be available. > > Also, for compliance testing I believe a test utility and test firmware are required to generate tones/etc. Any ideas where these can be found? > > Thanks, > James Minor > > _______________________________________________ > ath6kl mailing list > ath6kl@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > http://lists.infradead.org/mailman/listinfo/ath6kl _______________________________________________ ath6kl mailing list ath6kl@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.infradead.org/mailman/listinfo/ath6kl
