apologies - I had trouble getting my posting to appear on the list, so in the end I tried to just reply to one of my earlier posts - and forgot to change the subject.

Hey,

could someone explain what this feature in Kernel 2.6.38 means?

Skeleton for the DM target that will be the bridge from DM to MD (initially RAID456 and later RAID1). It provides a way to use device-mapper interfaces to the MD RAID456 drivers.

 Thanks!

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly
what the Universe is for and why it is here,it will instantly disappear
and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
