I synced the debian package, and thought that change was made upstream. I'll re-apply and see what happens from there. Ok after trying a newer debian revision of the debian dmraid package, one which I wasn't using earlier, things appear to be ok again. Seems it was just me not making sure I was using latest sources from debian. Now to see if my BIOS will see dmraid created metadata. /me slaps head.
