Hi,
it seems that with the board above SATA Raid 1 with dmraid is not possible.
It uses the ICH7R (82801GR/GH) Chip to do SATA Software Raid. But the
Board has instead of the Intel embedded RAID
Configuration tool (during bootup), one from LSI Logic. It supports
RAID1 and 0 only.
Inside the raid system I created with WindowsXP one primary NTFS and one
FAT32 partition, they are recognized by the kernel,
I can mount them, and can see the directory structure. After
manipulation only the data from the first drive is shown.
I can access the Drives seperatly with the ahci driver. Here are poarts
