James, I've got a fix in my devel code base for this and I'm waiting for user confirmation in a couple of cases where the bug hit in order to do another release. BTW: do I have your metadata yet (dmraid -rD;tar jcvf James-Olson-raid0.tar.bz2 *.{dat,size,offset}) in order to confirm it fixes your case as well ? FYI: the reason why this flaw doesn't hit in many (most?) cases is, that the size the metadata reports *is* a multiple of the stride (called chunk in dm) size.
