sil0680 support

Hello!

I just upgraded my linux distribution from 2.4-based to 2.6-based (SuSE 9.3). Sadly I have not been able to access my Medley RAID array since. "No software RAID disks" is all dmraid is able to report.

I'm using the SIL0680 controller, which is a pata controller. I have googled and found several references to dmraid working with Medley controllers, but they all seem to be referring to the sata controller (sil3112). Are there any users who have achieved results with the pata controller? If so, how? Or are there any known issues with this controller?

I'm not sure what details are required, so I'll just post a few:

[ suse comes shipped with rc4, which gave the same results ]
