Hi! I'm Luca Gambetta from Italy and I have some problems with dmraid. I have a Promise Fastrak 2000 with two 120gb hard disk in raid 1 (mirror). I'm using the vanilla 2.6.10 linux kernel on a Slackware 10. The problem is simple: dmraid 1.0.0-rc5f doesn't recognizes all my partitions. This is the disk partition table: Disk /dev/hde: 122.9 GB, 122942324736 bytes 255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 14946 cylinders Units = cilindri of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes Dispositivo Boot Start End Blocks Id System /dev/hde1 * 1 1912 15358108+ c W95 FAT32 (LBA) /dev/hde2 1913 12747 87032137+ 5 Esteso /dev/hde3 12748 14946 17663467+ 83 Linux /dev/hde5 1913 12124 82027858+ 83 Linux /dev/hde6 12125 12367 1951866 83 Linux /dev/hde7 12368 12610 1951866 83 Linux /dev/hde8 12611 12747 1100421 83 Linux The only partition it discovers and activate is the 1 (dos): all the other are with reiserfs. In attach you can find some output of dmraid, in hope it helps...
