The way to work around those is to create symlinks for your convenience. E.g. tweak your initscript to create /dev/ataraid/'DeviceName' -> /dev/mapper/isw_igefbdigf_RAID. I've put up this issue on the TODO list already (i.e. support for mapping native to user supplied names on the command line or in a config file).
