I didn't mention this in the original post, but I am trying to build a RAID1 drive with two of my 120GB Western Digital drives. I used mdadm and raid creatiion process went fine. My card detects the drive fine and I can see them from fdisk -l. I was able to mount /dev/md0 after the raiding was done. However, after rebooting it wasn't there.
