DriveReady SeekComplete Error

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I have a promise fastrack133 on my M/B. Unfortunately when the drive becaome
half full (30 GB) is starts giving me the following error message:

"<4>hdg: dma_intr: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
<4>hdg: dma_intr: error=0x84 { DriveStatusError BadCRC }"

I don't know if it is the promise or because my M/B is a GA-7DXR+ with a
athlon chip. Can anyone help?

I join my all log, just in case it helps. Also I have a great new feature in
my flashed bios, I can disable the RAID and make ATA (according to the doc
it would give me IDE3 and ID4). Would using the native linux RAID solve my
problem?

Regards

Yoram
