I'm trying to install Linux Redhat 7.1 on a clean Highpoint 370 RAID onboard controller. Downloaded the drivers from http://www.highpoint-tech.com/ and begin the installation. Everthing seems to be ok. After installation en reboot, I get the error : Partition check: sda: VFS : Cannot open root device "801" or 08:01 Please append a correct "root =" boot option Kernel panic : VFS : Unable to mount root fs on 08:01 What's wrong?
