Hello I wonder if someone has yet performed some benchmarking against ataraid and software raid in the same conditions. I would be glad to hear which one is faster, which one requires less cpu overhead etc as far as I see ataraid is still software-enabled on my adaptec 1200a controller... At large file operations ataraid seem to eat over 70% of cpu :( -- Stefan Laudat CCNA & CCAI ------------- Reality is an obstacle to hallucination.
