libss7 linkset not coming up

Hi Vinod,

Thanks for the reply.

Changed the SLC to be 0 and what looks like most importantly setting the /etc/dahdi/system.conf to have the following line.

56k=24

Setting the signaling channel to 56k instead of 64k. Which the customer says is their default.

Once that change was applied the linkset reports as up tho I still see those NOTALIGNED -> IDLE messages over and over.

Customer hasn?t reported back yet what their end see?s so I?m waiting on that.

Joseph

Normally slc start from 0
Also check ss7 type of customer.

Hey list,

So I?m trying to get ss7 turned up between an asterisk box and a customer?s ss7 switch.

Machine stats ?

Asterisk 1.8.26.1
DAHDI Version: 2.6.1
libss7 version: 1.0.2

Testing between two asterisk boxes running the same config works perfectly. When connecting to the customers ss7 switch the linkset stays down and debugging ss7 shows

[Nov 7 19:03:12] [1] Link state change: NOTALIGNED -> IDLE
[Nov 7 19:03:12] [1] Link state change: IDLE -> NOTALIGNED
[Nov 7 19:03:24] [1] Link state change: NOTALIGNED -> IDLE
[Nov 7 19:03:24] [1] Link state change: IDLE -> NOTALIGNED
[Nov 7 19:03:35] [1] Link state change: NOTALIGNED -> IDLE
[Nov 7 19:03:35] [1] Link state change: IDLE -> NOTALIGNED
[Nov 7 19:03:47] [1] Link state change: NOTALIGNED -> IDLE
[Nov 7 19:03:47] [1] Link state change: IDLE -> NOTALIGNED
[Nov 7 19:03:58] [1] Link state change: NOTALIGNED -> IDLE
[Nov 7 19:03:58] [1] Link state change: IDLE -> NOTALIGNED

After some googling I?ve double checked and the cics defined on both sides but still not having any luck.

Here is my chan_dadhi.conf config (slightly sanitized)

[trunkgroups]
[channels]
signalling=ss7
ss7type=ansi
networkindicator=national
ss7_called_nai=national
ss7_calling_nai=national
ss7_internationalprefix=
ss7_nationalprefix=
ss7_subscriberprefix=
ss7_unknownprefix=

linkset=1
slc=1
pointcode=X-XXX-XX
adjpointcode=XXX-XXX-XXX
defaultdpc=XXX-XXX-XXX
context=ss7-in
group=1
cicbeginswith=1
channel=1-23
channel=25-48
adjpointcode=XXX-XXX-XXX
sigchan=24

Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks!

Joseph Jackson
