Asterisk ISUP to SIP mapping

Hi,

Indeed you can-I've done it many times, and it works well. Asterisk can even do the media translation for you as well, so for example the G.711 alaw used with SS7 to G.729 commontly found on the IP side. It is stable and performs well.
